Qualifications

ICD Business School delivers qualifications that are recognised by the National Framework of Qualifications of Ireland (www.nqai.ie) and also by the main Professional Bodies governing the particular educational field. (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MII)

Courses

ICD offers an honours degree in Accounting and Finance, which is validated by HETAC (Higher Education Training Awards Council). This is a joint venture between ICD and BBP Professional Education. BPP is the leading college in the delivery of professional accountancy qualifications in Ireland and the UK. This course aims to prepare the student for a career in accounting and finance and as it is at level eight on the NFQI it allows students entry into the professional accountancy programmes of all the main professional accountancy bodies with further access to Masters' programmes both home and abroad. This degree can be completed in three years full-time study

Part of the experience for the ICD student is obviously academic, but also, all students are encouraged to participate in the extra curricular activities. These include trips in Ireland to places of interest, both historical and of beauty.
