About IBaT
Established in 2004, IBaT college is one of Ireland’s fastest growing private education providers, with a global reputation for high-quality education and student care. Situated in Swords, a short distance from Dublin city centre, the airport and the beach, the campus offers state-of-the-art facilities in an ideal location for students.

In order for you to feel comfortable and settled with the College, only 50 students maximum are placed in each class. Within in no time, you will be familiar with every student (and even staff) on a first name basis! These small class sizes promote an intimate, relaxed and comfortable learning environment for each of our students to grow, learn and acquire a fantastic education.

Courses are internationally recognised and accredited by the Higher Education & Training Council of Ireland. We are approved providers of HETAC, FETAC, ACCA and ACELS-approved courses amongst others.

Also, every year, IBAT College accommodates its students by running Early Registration Discounts and Schemes, thus a student who reserves their place early is rewarded and can save up to 20% off their tuition fees for next year. Instalment Payment Plans are also available to spread the cost and manage your expenditure effectively for the next year.

Student life.

Swords is ideal for students as accommodation is cheaper, public transport is excellent and the area buzzes with cafes, bars, restaurants, sports, shopping and cinemas. It is also a very safe and secure area.
The college is particularly well resourced in terms of support and information, and facilities are improving all the time, with a new chill-out room, coffee dock, and ample computing facilities. Our coffee dock provides an area for students to relax and mingle with fellow colleagues
Get involved in sport! There are plenty of opportunities to join local sports clubs such as football, cricket, tennis and badminton. We encourage students to join a club or activity in which you have an interest. These interest groups can include academic related, charitable, cultural, performing arts, political, religious, competitive and non-competitive sports.
Flexible study
After completing a 2-year higher Certificate, students can opt to pursue a further year to gain a degree or two years to gain an honours degree. Credits, exemptions and transfers are offered to eligible students.
One of the most important things you will learn during your college years is the importance of time management. Between lectures, assignments, employment and an active social life, you will have to learn how to dedicate the right amount of time to each aspect of your life whilst successfully completing your education. We at IBAT College understand the importance of acquiring this skill and endeavour to help you as much as we can by accommodating the busy life a student can have! As a result, our full-time undergraduate business courses are scheduled to take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings – only two and a half days a week and the rest of the time is yours! When you attend IBAT College, there is no need to worry about random timetable hours as you will know, from the beginning, when exactly you are attending lectures!
